Refrigeration dryers are used in all compressed air systems to protect the piping system, equipment and tools. The compressed air enters the refrigeration dryer and cooled it down to about +3 degree celcius, vapour in the air condensates and will drained off the unit. As the air goes out, counter current occurs to reheat the out going air by the incoming air entering the unit.
